'A professionally run yard with fabulous facilities, friendly staff and relaxed horses.
'Every effort is made to make your life easier and your horse content.
'My horse felt at home from day one and this in one of only a few yards where I can happily go away, turn my phone off and not worry about her!'

'I have been at Middleton Livery since October 2016 when I moved my retired shire Bella there as she needed longer turnout time and 24/7 turnout in the summer. 'The liveries and staff were all friendly and made me feel very welcome.
'I discussed my livery needs with Caroline and she made me a bespoke DIY with assistance package.
'In January 2018 I had to have Bella put to sleep and again Caroline, her staff and the liveries supported me though that tough time.
'Betty came on trial in July 2018 and stayed!! Caroline's grooms Chloe and Amy have been there to help me gain my confidence. I'm now having lessons with Mark Townsend and hacking out by myself.
'I am still on assisted DIY and make full use of the school, lunge pen and horse walker (included in DIY livery) and either Chloe or Amy hack Betty for me (extra).
'I cannot fault the yard in any way.'

'I have kept my horse at Caroline and John's for 4½ years and I can honestly say it has been the best livery yard I have stayed at. The attention to detail is second to none and he has always been so well cared for, even when he suffered a serious allergy and reaction to a steroid injection. Carley, their Yard Manager, took such great care of him through his rehabilitation and recovery. His needs were always met every day and Carley and the other staff treated him like their own, he was loved by everyone and he loved them.
'The staff are so attentive, in the day to day care, which is tailored to every client's needs and I cannot recommend this yard enough. If you are unsure about anything, they are always on hand to help you and if you love your horse as much as I loved mine then please do not hesitate to join this wonderful place as it takes all your worries away to know how happy, loved and well cared for your special friends will be. I have only left due to relocating to Spain but my boy has stayed at the yard with his new forever family with existing clients there and I know he will be very happy as he is still at Caroline and John's with the same routine he knows and loves. I can't thank them all enough.'

'As an international show rider and producer, when we moved to Northamptonshire we required a specific criteria for a yard- that provided individual turnout, stabling, parking for the lorry, a floodlit school, somewhere secure to keep tack and rugs and for the yard to provide livery services when we had to be away. Each of our boxes were ticked and in addition to this there was a horsewalker, a rug washing and repair service and a regular visiting instructor to give one to one tuition. If it wasn’t for the fact that we have been lucky enough to have our own stables and land we would still be there now!'

'We were very fortunate to be part of the Middleton Livery Yard. The Staff are very knowledgeable and have the highest standards. Assistance was always on hand and you could trust the staff to carry out the job as you had requested. The yard was always kept clean and the grazing is very well maintained. We were truly sad to leave due to relocation and have been unable to replicate this standard of yard.'

'Caroline and John Middleton run a livery and training yard in the heart of Northamptonshire. I have taught Caroline and some of their liveries for several years, I would affirm that the efficiency and good stable management is second to none. Their facilities include good turnout, a riding ménage and lovely hacking country. Their excellent rug cleaning service is used by many of my clients, who can attest to the quality and service being of the highest standard.'

'During the time that I had the opportunity to help Caroline with the training of her horses I found her to be both a knowledgeable and capable horsewoman. Caroline always has the welfare of the horses as her prime concern and endeavours to ensure their training is on correct lines ensuring an all round education. If you have a rug in need of reconditioning I can assure you they come back every bit as good as new if not better!'

'We have been at the yard a number of years and our horse has always been happy and settled here. The facilities are great and well maintained. Whenever we have needed to use the livery services our horse has always been very well looked after. There is also plenty of safe hacking close by.'

'In 2008 after my hunter, Bob, suffered tendon injuries I was recommended by a friend to send him to Caroline Middleton for his recovery period. It was the best decision I made. He was looked after extremely well, and the instruction from the vet for his daily exercise was carried out to the letter. I would highly recommend her well run and happy yard to anyone for whatever service you need for you and your horse.'
