Middleton Livery personnel are all experienced horse owners some are qualified some are not, we personally feel that qualifications do not necessarily prove a person is capable of providing a top level of care for horses and their clients. We would rather select people for their attention to detail and their ability to provide 100% dedication to the job in hand.

Our Team

I'm Chloe, 24. I have worked for Middleton livery since October 2016.

Before working for John and Caroline Middleton, I worked for A.J Steward for 9 years, I originally started there as a weekend girl, which I loved, this commenced my career in the industry.

I learnt a HUGE amount of knowledge, from how to run and organise a busy yard to turning out hunt horses, fittening racehorses/hunt horses/competition horses, through to my riding. I had the opportunity to break a couple of the youngsters which then I got to bring on and compete alongside my Ex racehorse, which I competed within the "Woodland Pytchley Pony Club" and One Day Events.

I really enjoy my job working for John and Caroline, it's a great team here we are always having lots of laugher together, I always give my utmost care, and that gets adapted to each horse's needs.

In October 2017 I became very poorly and was diagnosed Crohn's disease and had to take a lot of time off, Caroline & John were both very supportive and continue to be.

I am lucky enough to have three stunning horses to ride for John and Caroline, which I treat like my own, and have regular educational lessons from John Thelwall to further my and their careers.

I'm Amy and I have been working at Middleton livery since July 2018.

Before I started work here I worked for 4 years at Dan Delsart Equestrian, I learnt a lot about competition care, dealing with youngsters and managing a yard.

I've completed a Level 3 Extended diploma in equine rehabilitation and therapy, which has helped me in my work to see lameness/ illness with then knowing what steps to take next.

At Middleton Livery I really enjoy my job, the liveries on the yard are super! Always got the kettle on ready for a cup of coffee.

As a staff member I am always looking for more ways to give the client's horse the best quality care that suits their needs.

My own mare Polly who is 15 years old and 15.2hh is a great baby sitter on hacks.

We love to go out hunting and try our best at show jumping.

I'm Alex and I've worked at a Middleton Livery since December 2018.

In 2017 I attended the British Racing School and qualified with a Level 2 Diploma in Racehorse Care, as well as a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Equine Rehabilitation and Therapy.

Before working at Middleton Livery, I worked for a racehorse trainer in Lambourn as a travelling groom, which gave me incredible experience of handling difficult youngsters and travelling across the country with them!

At Middleton Livery the atmosphere is always friendly, and the facilities and regular instructors have meant I'm now able to make real progress with my ex-racer called Chester.
